On April 8 Etobicoke York Community Council considered item:
Coalition spokesperson, Neiland Brissenden, deputed on behalf of the Save Eglinton Flats Coalition against the motion and asked "the City to push back and not rubber stamp any approvals for Metrolinx or the Province until they start working with the city and its residents in a truly constructive and collaborative manner."
